Deborah Gray-Young is a certified Personal and Executive Coach dedicated to helping women of color navigate the intersection of their personal and professional lives.  Her mission today is to help professional women of color better manage the politics and biases they encounter in their workplace.

A trailblazer, she has been in the trenches and knows all too well the struggles women of color endure to achieve success. She has had a successful 30 year career in advertising and is an award winning and highly regarded marketing communications professional. Her insight has been sought by major business and industry trade publications including the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Washington Post and more.

Deborah is the former chairperson of the 4 A’s Multicultural Media Committee and currently serves as Vice Chair of Nielsen’s external African American Advisory Council. Deborah is the author of The Young Professional’s Handbook, a primer for young people entering the professional workforce.

Christal M.N. Jenkins, MAT-BAT, MBA

Christal M.N. Jenkins MAT-BAT, MBA has spent over a decade working within the Corporate Sector in Marketing and Product Management for Fortune 500 companies. In addition to her corporate career, she has a passion to share her gifts with the world. She has served on many national professional boards and international public service organizations for over 6 years, including the YWCA Board of Directors for Snohomish, East and King county, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.

Alisa S. Joseph, Founder & CEO

Alisa S. Joseph is a business professional who combines generalist skills with a variety of practices, processes and industry expertise. A talented marketing professional, she has a proven record of accomplishment in planning and leading comprehensive marketing strategies in support of business goals and objectives. She is highly skilled in multi-media and integrated marketing solutions to gain share of voice, enabling small and large companies, and nonprofit organizations in elevating their brands. In addition to her solid leadership skills, she is able to build and guide projects with individuals and teams. 

Ms. Joseph has worked in the financial services field for over 25 years, specializing in strategy, product management, marketing, communications, grant writing, business planning, program initiatives and business solutions. She is a graduate of Fordham University with a B.S. in Psychology and Columbia University – Teachers College with an M.S. in Organizational Psychology.  She is the board chair of the Stratford Richardson YMCA and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Charlotte Alumnae Chapter.  Residing in Charlotte, NC, Alisa has been married to Keith Joseph for over 22 years and they have three children.

Terri L. Williams

Terri L. Williams is the President and Founder of Panache Career Strategies, a boutique leadership training company, that focuses on professional and executive presence. Additionally, she serves as the Chief of Protocol for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. An experienced corporate protocol and human resource management practitioner within the federal government, for more than 20 years, Terri has worked in a variety of executive roles across three Cabinet-level organizations including the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Transportation. Her work includes a variety of Cabinet-level strategic initiatives, in particular, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs’ Task Force for the Employment and Advancement of Women and the Secretary of Transportation’s Future of Aviation Advisory Committee.

An avid believer in life-long learning, Terri is an alumnus of a myriad of institutions including but not limited to the Federal Executive Institute, Georgetown University, American University, and the US Army War College. Terri holds dual graduate degrees and has earned a Master of Business Administration (Human Resource Management), and a Master of Science in Management. Her undergraduate work includes the Bachelor of Business Administration, and an Associates in General Studies.

The Women in Military Service (WIMSA) memorial selected Terri as the US Army representative for their Commemorative Postage Stamp honoring women in our military in 1997. In addition, Terri has received several civilian and military awards to include the Secretary of Transportation Partnership in Excellence Award, Secretary of Veterans Affairs Commendation, and the Secretary of Defense Meritorious Civilian Service Award. During her military service, she was recognized with the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and the Army Achievement Medal.
